Contracts and business disputes.

Paloma came to the firm from a commercial litigation practice, where she spent years arguing about contracts other lawyers had written. Now she writes them, and when a deal goes wrong she settles it, by letter where she can and in court where she has to. She meets clients in English or Spanish.

In Paloma's words

How I work

Every contract I write, I read once as the person who'll be suing over it. It's the fastest way to find the sentence that will cost my client money.

Most disputes don't need a lawsuit. They need someone to read the contract, write a clear letter and make a reasonable offer. When they do need a lawsuit, I'd rather be the lawyer who already knows the file.
